THE GYROKINESIS® METHOD 

The foundation of the Gyrotonic Method. The Gyrokinesis method gently exercises the entire body with fluid rhythmic movement sequences, and specific breathing patterns.


Movements are similar in feeling to Yoga, Thai Chi, dance, and Chi Gung.
Exercises are performed seated, standing, and on the floor

The Gyrokinesis method strengthens, stretches, and tones muscles and tendons, and mobilizes joints and connective tissue.


The movements massage internal organs; breathing patterns stimulate the cardiovascular system, detoxify the body, and open meridians to create a more free flow of energy. Emphasis is placed on spinal motions, moving the spine in all possible ranges of motion, thus increasing the functional capacity of the core.


Gyrokineses exercises can be gentle and meditative as well as challenging and invigorating, giving you a complete workout, in addition to an increased sense of wellbeing, integration and increased energy. You will feel clearer, brighter and invigorated. Gyrokinesis class is taught in groups and in private sessions.
